Subject: Application for building a bridge over the canal


Sir,

I, on behalf of the people of Hashara Union, want to draw your kind attention to an important issue. A canal runs through our village. It is close to our college and local market. Many people, especially students, have to cross this canal every day.

During the rainy season, we can use boats. But in the dry season, there is not enough water, so boats cannot run. Then we are forced to cross the canal on foot. This is very risky. Children, old people, and girl students suffer the most. Sometimes people slip and fall into the water. Many students miss classes for months. Sick people and pregnant women also face great trouble crossing the canal.

A small and strong bridge can solve all these problems. It will help people go to school, college, market, and hospital safely and easily. Life will be better for all the villagers.

We, therefore, pray and hope that you would be kind enough to take necessary steps to build a bridge over the canal and oblige thereby.
