A Dialogue between Two Friends about the Importance of Tree Plantation 

Shimul            : Hi, Shamim! How are you?

Shamim          : I’m fine, thank you. And you?


Shimul            : I’m fine too. 

Shamim          : Where were you yesterday?


Shimul            : I went to Dhaka to attend a

                            seminar on tree plantation.

Shamim          : Sounds interesting! Why is tree 

                           plantation important?


Shimul             : Trees give us oxygen, fruits,  

                           wood, shade, and reduce 

                           pollution.

Shamim          : That’s true. But some people cut 

                            down trees.


Shimul             : Yes, that harms nature. 

                            We should plant more trees.

Shamim           : Where can we plant them?


Shimul             : On empty lands, beside roads, 

                            schools, and in yards.

Shamim           : When is the best time to plant 

                            trees?


Shimul             : During the rainy season, 

                            especially in June and July.

Shamim           : I agree. Let’s make our country

                            green.


Shimul             : Exactly! Thanks you so much.   

                            Goodbye!

Shimul             : Goodbye!
