A Dialogue between Two Friends about the Importance of Tree Plantation
A dialogue between two friends about the importance of tree plantation
Rahim : Hi, Karim! How are you?
Karim : Hello, Rahim! I’m fine, thank
you. How about you?
Rahim : I’m also fine. Thanks for asking.
Karim : Where did you go yesterday? I
didn’t see you at school.
Rahim : I went to Dhaka. I attended a
seminar there. It was about the
importance of tree plantation.
Karim : Oh, that’s interesting! Can you
please tell me why tree
plantation is so important?
Rahim : Sure! Trees are very important
for our life. We cannot live
without them because they
give us oxygen to breathe.
Karim : Yes, that’s true.
Rahim : Actually, trees help us in many
ways. They give us fruits to eat
and wood for furniture and
houses. They also give us shade
and keep the air fresh by
reducing pollution.
Karim : That’s amazing! Trees are
really helpful to us.
Rahim : Yes, they are. But sadly, some
people cut down trees for
wood, fuel, and other
needs. This harms nature and
makes the environment worse.
Karim : Oh no! That’s not good. What
can we do to stop this?
Rahim : We should plant more and
more trees. This is called tree
plantation. We have many
empty lands where we can
plant trees. We can also plant
trees beside roads, schools,
and in our yards.
Karim : That sounds like a great idea.
But when is the best time to
plant trees?
Rahim : The best time for tree
plantation is during the rainy
season, especially in June
and July.
Karim : I understand now. To save
our nature and make our
country green, we all should
plant more trees.
Rahim : Exactly! If everyone helps,
we can protect our
environment and live a
better life.
Karim : Thank you, Rahim, for
sharing all this useful
information with me.
Rahim : You’re most welcome,
Karim. Take care. See you
soon.
Rahim : You too. Goodbye!
